Welcome! This work is an extension of my broader action and documentary video practice, applying the same storytelling and analysis techniques in an on-snow environment.
I use video to make movement visible, understandable, and actionable. On snow, that means combining real-time coaching with carefully captured footage to help people see what’s actually happening between their body, their equipment, and the terrain.
This work sits at the intersection of action sports videography and instruction. Sometimes it’s a short set of annotated clips that clarify a specific movement pattern. Other times it’s a more complete visual record of a day on snow, capturing both progress and experience.
My approach borrows from broadcast and sports-analysis techniques: slow motion, side-by-side comparison, and simple visual callouts that highlight timing, balance, edge engagement, and flow. The goal is not to overwhelm, but to reveal. When people can see what they’re doing, improvement often follows more quickly and with less frustration.
This service can stand alone as a video-focused experience, or it can complement time spent coaching on snow. It’s well suited to individuals, families, and small groups who want to better understand how they move and how small changes can make a meaningful difference.
If you’re interested in using video as part of your on-snow experience, this is a natural place to start.
